BCS Question Solution 2021:
According to the BCS (Age, Eligibility and Direct Recruitment Examination) Rules-2014 framed for the recruitment examination in the Bangladesh Civil Service, the Commission conducts a three-tier examination for the recruitment of suitable candidates in the 26 cadres of the BCS.
BCS’s three-tier examination system: As per the provisions of BCS (Age, Eligibility and Direct Recruitment Examination) Rules-2014, the Public Service Commission conducts the following 3 level recruitment examination for the purpose of nominating suitable candidates in Bangladesh Civil Service.
First level: 200 number MCQ Type Preliminary Test.
Level 2: Written test of 900 marks for the successful candidates in the preliminary test.
Level 3: Oral test of 200 marks for the successful candidates in the written test.

Due to the large number of candidates as compared to the vacant posts, Bangladesh Public Service Commission conducts MCQ Type Preliminary Test of Marks 200 as per Rule-8 of BCS (Age, Eligibility and Direct Recruitment Examination) Rules-2014 for selection of suitable candidates through written test.
Until the 34th BCS examination, the preliminary test was taken at 100 marks. As per the provisions of BCS Examination Rules-2014, system has been introduced to take MCQ Type Preliminary Test on 10 subjects in 2 hours from the 35th BCS Exam and The marks will be 200.
